Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin has revealed that her unwed teen daughter Bristol, who gave birth to son Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston on Saturday, and her fiance Levi Johnston are working hard to balance schoolwork with their new parental obligations.

"You need to know that both Levi and Bristol are working their butts off to parent and going to school and working at the same time. They are certainly not high school dropouts," Fox News quoted the Alaska Governor as telling People magazine during a telephonic interview.

Pressure mounts on Palin to react to racist Govt. e-mails about Obama

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s critics are demanding that she respond to the circulation of racist e-mails about U.S. President-elect Barack Obama by staff members in her state''s government.

The state’s information technology division has revealed that one of the e-mails concluded: "Another black family living in government housing!"

"It''s embarrassing to the state," the Telegraph quoted Administration commissioner Annette Kreitzer as saying.

She revealed that she had reported the matter to Palin’s office.

Palin apologises for Wasilla church burning

Alaska Governor and 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has apologised to folks in her hometown Wasilla for the burning of a church that she visited frequently. The building was burnt late Friday night and early Saturday morning.

According to the local television station 2News KTUU, the blaze at the Wasilla Bible Church broke out as a group of women were making crafts inside.

Palin''''s spokesperson, Bill McAllister, issued a statement on her behalf after she visited the church on Saturday.

Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has been turned into a calendar girl by one of her friends, who has served as her as Deputy Mayor in Wasilla.

Judy Patrick’s calendar shows Palin as posing with a gun, and included dozens of her pictures clicked while she was on the job and at home with her family.

In one of the images, Palin is wrapped in the American flag, with a sidebar of pictures of her and her children.

Republican vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin is learnt to have been cleared by a state personnel board about her role in the infamous the “Troopergate” case, whereby she was accused of abusing her office as Alaska Governor in dismissing one of her staffers.

Earlier, a probe conducted by the state legislature had found Sarah as guilty in terminating the services of Department of Public Safety Commissioner (Walt) Monegan because the latter didn’t comply with her orders to dismiss her brother-in-law who had divorced her sister.
