Eddie Murphy denies Riddler role claims

Hollywood actor Eddie Murphy has denied claims stating that he will be taking up the role of ‘Riddler’ in the new Batman flick.

A representative for Eddie Murphy rebuffed the claims stating that the actor will not take on the role.

The representative said the claims were ‘not true’, reports Contactmusic.

A British tabloid had earlier stated that Murphy would be seen as The Riddler alongside Shia LaBeouf as Robin in the new flick, tentatively called ‘Gotham’.

The Riddler role was made famous by Jim Carrey, who played The Riddler in 1995''s Batman Forever. (ANI)
